MassLynx Shutdown on LC-error only works if Startup has been run to Start the Batch - WKB31769

SYMPTOMS
When a sample list is running and encounters an LC-error such as 'Missing Vial', the sample list pauses but the error shutdown method is not triggered, and the solvents keep flowing. This occurs even if the error shutdown method has been correctly configured by selecting the "Inlet Fatal Error" option.
ENVIRONMENT
MassLynx 4.1 and 4.2 (multiple releases including SCN 639, SCN 714, SCN 945, SCN 977, SCN 997, SCN 1045, SCN 1046).
CAUSE
Software bug
FIX or WORKAROUND
The workaround is to ensure that the batch is started by running a Batch Startup method.
