HDX error: General Failure: Only 0 out of 2 pumps responded - WKB30711

SYMPTOMS

• At the end of first sample run, the Additional Status page displays the following error: "General Failure: Only 0 out of 2 pumps responded"

ENVIRONMENT

• HDX
• MassLynx

CAUSE

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the inlet editor, click the Tools menu and select Instrument Configuration.
2. In the bottom-right, select Events and Triggering.
3. Complete the setup as described in the installation manual.
4. Select "Trigger by Contact Closure" for both the pump and the detector.
5. Click Next, and click Finish.
