Overlay multiple back pressure traces in MassLynx.

PROCEDURE

  1. In order to view the system back pressure, this data should be acquired. Activate the following check box in your inlet method:
    backpressure tick.JPG
  2. To view the system back pressure for one single injection, open the chromatogram of the injection. To open the back pressure, click the following:

    Resulting in:

  3. A different approach is recommended for overlaying multiple back pressure traces. The default view upon activating the "Chromatogram" button should be changed as follows. Go to menu item "Tools" on the vertical menu on the left and click "Options". Then set the following:

    When selecting multiple lines in the MassLynx sample list and setting all in overlay with the y axis linked, an overlay is created in one window:

  4. The system back pressure can additionally be monitored in TrendPlot by following the procedure described in: https://support.waters.com/KB_Inf/Ma...e_in_TrendPlot.
