Processing error (-45) when processing MassLynx 4.1 data with MaxEnt1 - WKB21387

SYMPTOMS

• Processing error (-45) when processing data with MaxEnt1
• Rebooting the PC does not help
• Found: No antivirus software is installed
• Found: User is logged in to PC as local Administrator

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1

CAUSE

Corruption of the Masslynx.ini file

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and all MassLynx-related windows.
2. Browse to C:\Masslynx and find the Masslynx.ini file.
3. Open the Masslynx.ini file in Notepad.
4. Find the [SPeMaxEnt] section in the Masslynx.ini file.
5. Delete the information in this section, leaving only the [SPeMaxEnt] section header.
6. Save the Masslynx.ini file.
7. Open MassLynx.
