OALogin OA Status Monitor does not work - WKB208694

SYMPTOMS

• OA Status Monitor does not work; cannot see the vials in the autosampler and cannot monitor the runs

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• OALogin

CAUSE

Logged in to PC with a non-Administrator account OR registry corruption

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. OALogin works only with an operating system Administrator account—the one the software is loaded with. The registry keys used relate to the local user, not the local machine. This cannot be changed.
2. Install and configure OALogin with an Administrator account and use this account to operate the software.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If reinstallation and user accounts do not resolve, Windows reinstallation may be required.
