MetaboLynx buttons are dimmed (unavailable) - WKB19678

SYMPTOMS

• When you open MetaboLynx reports in the MetaboLynx browser, the buttons are all dimmed and unavailable, with the possible exceptions of the Help button and the Open File button.

• Some data processing may be possible using the drop-downs from the Menu bar
• The problem occurs with both customer data and the C:\MassLynx\Metabolynx.rpt file provided as an example

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the MetaboLynx browser.
2. Open C:\MassLynx\Metabolynx.rpt.
3. From the menu bar, select File, and in the resulting drop-down select Properties.
4. The Properties window probably contains information on samples other than those in the C:\MassLynx\Metabolynx report.
5. From the menu bar select File, and in the resulting drop-down select Close to close the report.
6. Repeat for any other MetaboLynx reports that are open in the browser.
7. Reopen C:\MassLynx\Metabolynx.rpt.
8. If the buttons are working, close the example Metabolynx.rpt file and try opening one of your own MetaboLynx report files.
