How do you install NIST 2008 for use with MassLynx? - WKB1641

ANSWER

1. Insert the NIST 2008 DVD (otherwise known as SCN 691 or part 667003668) and view the contents.
2. Run the Setup.exe found in the "NIST Version" folder to install the NIST 08 MS Library and AMDIS software.
3. Run the Setup.bat found in the "MassLynx Version" folder to install copies of the NIST libraries in the MassLynx format.
4. Configure the MassLynx Search Library feature for the desired format and libraries.
