Inlet method changes are not saved - WKB1500

SYMPTOMS

• After saving an inlet method and reopening it, all of the details regarding temperature, column selection, and injectors are missing

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 932    
• SYNAPT G2-Si
• APGC source fitted
• Xevo G2 QTof

CAUSE

Corrupt MassLynx project

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to the main MassLynx page.
2. Go to the File Menu.
3. Select Project Wizard.
4. Click Yes in the pop-up window called Select Project: When changing to a new Project services are automatically closed down. Continue?
5. Specify a project name, description, and location for the project, and then click Next.
6. Choose the option "Create using existing project as template" and browse for C:\MassLynx\Default.pro.
7. Create a new method in the inlet method editor and click Save.
8. Close the inlet method editor.
9. Close MassLynx.
10. Open the software and use as normal.
