OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Calculate signal-to-noise (S:N).

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

1. Open the chromatogram window for the run.
2. Select Process.
3. Select Signal to noise.
4. Click in the signal window, and then right-click and drag across the peak.
5. Click in the noise window, and then right-click and drag across a good 0.5 minute of noise.
6. Select the processing parameters desired and select OK.
