In MassLynx, getting sample list mass set mass check error - WKB13288

SYMPTOMS

• Starting an acquisition brings immediate message saying "sample list mass set mass check"
• The run stops
• System shows "Not Ready", yet there's control over the instruments and there's nothing in the queue

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• SYNAPT G2 MS

CAUSE

The wrong MS file was browsed in on the sample list.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that nothng is in the queue.
2. Make changes to the sample list to correct for the desired acquisition.
3. Go to the MS Console, and click on Resolve to clear "System Not Ready".
