TargetLynx browser is missing the summary bar or tables are not displayed correctly - WKB11808

SYMPTOMS

• TargetLynx browser is missing the summary bar
• TargetLynx browser table is not ordering samples correctly

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• TargetLynx

CAUSE

The file Targetlynx.~ql is corrupted.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Here are the steps we used to resolve the summary bar view problem within TargetLynx:  

1. Exit the TargetLynx browser.
2. Using Windows Explorer, browse to your computer's harddrive.
3. Expand the contents on the C drive.
4. Look for the MassLynx folder.
5. Inside this folder, look for the file named Targetlynx.~ql.
6. Rename this file and pull it out of the MassLynx folder (move it to the
desktop, for example).
7. Restart the TargetLynx browser from within MassLynx.

Once things are working normally, delete the Targetlynx_old.~ql file from the desktop; it is no longer needed. MassLynx
should create a new ~ql file.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To retain the original column layout, save file/layout before deleting the ql file.
