SYMPTOMS

• Unable to complete execution of startup; failure to load LC method
• System pauses in between batches when multiple batches are in the queue

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 and 4.2

CAUSE

The startup LC method is not selected, or the method selected no longer exists.

This is a universal MassLynx setting.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Select the correct startup method from the startup/shutdown menu.
2. System startup is not recommended if multiple LC methods are needed or multiple batches are in the queue.
