Can you sum the peak areas detected in the multiple MRM transitions for a given compound in TargetLynx - WKB101192
ENVIRONMENT
- MassLynx
- TargetLynx
- TargetLynx XS
ANSWER
Yes, it is possible to sum the peak areas detected in the multiple MRM transitions for a given compound.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In the Target Ion Properties, check the box "Use Trace In Response Calculation" for each Target Ion that is to be included. TargetLynx will sum the peaks areas for all selected trace. The individual peak areas will be shown in their respective columns in the Summary Bar (and reports). The summed peak area is shown in the Abs. Response column.
TargetLynx uses the Abs. Response to determine the relative response when using an internal standard, when plotting Response v Concentration when deriving a calibration curve and when calculating concentration. If only one trace is being used, the Peak Area and the Absolute Response will be the same value.
