OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Create a report to summarize the history of an eConnect or eCord column.

PROCEDURE

A report group within Report Publisher creates a complete history of either column. Start by creating a Summary by All Report Method.

STEP 1
For Empower versions prior to 3.8.0, open Report Publisher, and in the list of report groups find eCord Information. Expand that group and view Column Sum and SampleSet data (f\Figure 1).

STEP 2
For Empower 3.8.0, open Report Publisher, and in the list of report groups find Detected Column Information. Expand the group and view Column Sum and SampleSet data. Drag and drop the group onto the right-hand side of the window (Figure 2).

STEP 3
Go to Configuration Manager and size the window to view Report Publisher in the background. Select Columns from the tree on the left. Click the row number for the column for which you want to create the summary report (Figure 3).

STEP 4
Point to the row number for the column, hold the mouse button down, and click and drag the row into the Report Publisher (Figure 4).

STEP 5
The Open Report Method dialog box opens. Select the last option and click OK (Figure 5).

STEP 6
Print Preview opens and displays the summary report for the selected column. This works for eConnect and eCord columns. You can then add a header, footer, and any other desired information. Ensure that you save the Report Method and give it a name (Figure 6).
