How can I see if a Result has been Signed Off? - Tip226

Tip #226: Empower User Question: Viewing Signed Off Results with View Filter in Empower

In this week’s tip, we will answer an Empower user question regarding determining which Results have been Signed Off.

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

An easy way of knowing if a result has been Signed Off is to create a ‘View Filter’ which includes the ‘Number of Sign Offs’ field (figure 1).

STEP 2

Create an informative View Filter on the Sign Offs tab, click ‘Edit View’ (figure 2).

STEP 3

Add the following fields: ‘Sign Off Reason’, ‘Number of Sign Offs’ and ‘Processing Locked’ (figure 3).

STEP 4

In this example, both ‘Sign Off Level 1’ and ‘Sign Off Level 2’, neither are locked (figure 4).

STEP 5

If your Sign Off was completed using an ‘Individual Report’ Method, right click on a Result, select ‘View As, Sign Offs’ and only the Sign Offs associated with that Result will be displayed (figure 5).

 STEP 6

If your Sign Off that was completed using a ‘Summary Report’ method, right click on a Result, select ‘View As, Sign Offs’ and the ‘Results Signed Off’ in the Summary Report will be displayed (figure 6).

STEP 7

You can create a View Filter to specifically display either ‘Sign Off Level 1’ or ‘Sign Off Level 2’ by adding a condition in the ‘Sign Off Reason’ field (figure 7).

STEP 8

The Sign Off table now displays all Results with a ‘Sign Off Level 2’ (figure 8).
