When using the mouse wheel to scroll/turn pages in the Empower 3 FR5 report editing interface, the screen does not display completely - WKB98426

SYMPTOMS

• In the Empower 3 FR5 report module editing interface, when you use the mouse wheel to scroll/turn pages, the screen freezes and does not fully display.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR5
• Windows 10

CAUSE

The mouse wheel has a long stroke and requires frame-by-frame display during the process. The display cannot be refreshed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Do not use the mouse wheel to turn pages; use the scroll bar on the right-hand side of the window or use the page turning keys. If an incomplete screen displays, switch to the report printing interface and then switch back.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Empower 3 FR4 and previous versions do not support use of the mouse wheel in the report module editing interface, so there is no such phenomenon.
