Only the instrument with the LAN cable plugged into it can be seen in Empower for an Agilent Infinity II System - WKB9468

SYMPTOMS

• Only the module with the LAN cable plugged into it can be seen
• When the InstantPilot is connected, all of the modules appear

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent Infinity II LC
• G7165A, G7129A, G7112B, and G4208A InstantPilot
• On/off status of the third-party mode on the InstantPilot makes no difference

CAUSE

The Agilent LC stack is in Resident Firmware mode.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Set the firmware mode back to "Main".
