SYMPTOMS
- First injection is okay; instrument failure on the second injection
- In the message center: "Instrument failure - Instrument AgGC failed to get ready to run an acquisition"
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 Enterprise
- Agilent ICF 3.2
CAUSE
The return time to the initial conditions (oven temperature) is longer than 10 minutes. After 10 minutes waiting for GC ready, Empower goes into instrument failure.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Add a "Next inj. delay" in the sample set to allow the GC oven to return to the initial conditions temperature.
