SYMPTOMS

• In Empower control panel, QDa state unknown
• 
• In console, calibration status = Uncalibrated
• 
• Cannot put the QDa in Operate mode

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• ICOP QDa 1.53 or 1.54

CAUSE

Antivirus issue

FIX or WORKAROUND

Remove antivirus, or configure antivirus to exclude Drive:\Empower from file scanning.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

A complete cold boot of the acquisition server or LAC/E32 and the instrument system is recommended.
