200 Da MS scan range produces no signal from QDa in Citrix in Empower - WKB90444

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument Method created from Citrix for QDa with both SIR and MS Scan from 100-300 Da at 5 pts/sec produces no signal (no data acquired)
• Instrument Method created from LAC/E with the same parameters does not show the same problem (even if run from Citrix)
• MS Scan alone works fine

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 SR3
• DP2019 R2
• QDa ICS v1.54–v1.70

CAUSE

Unknown (reported as CRI-1841)

FIX or WORKAROUND

Create an instrument method directly from the LAC/E, and then run it from Citrix.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Problem observed only with 200 Da MS Scan range; can be 100–300 Da, 200–400 Da, or 300–500 Da, all at 5 pts/sec.
