Cannot save report methods in Empower 3 - WKB8931

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot "save" or "save as..." in the Empower 3 report publisher
• Message appears when saving a report method: "Report method is currently in use by <user name>"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

The report method file size is too large, often due to the size of the logo graphics bitmap file in the first page header. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that the logo graphic bitmap file in the header is less than 1 MB in size.
2. As a secondary consideration, ensure that the project has adequate tablespace allocated to it.
