How do I archive Empower system audit trail events from a particular date range? - WKB8889

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

From Empower, export the system audit trail events that lie within a specified date range.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• Empower 2
• Empower 3

PROCEDURE

1. Open Configure System.
2. Highlight the System Audit Trail on the left side of the screen.
3. Click the "Edit View" button at the top of the screen.
4. Click in row one, under the "Change Date" column.
5. At the top of the window, click the "Options" drop-down menu, and then choose "Create a Condition".
6. In the window that opens, choose "between" from the first drop-down menu.
7. In the second and third drop-down menus, enter your dates, and then click OK.
8. At the top of the Edit View window, click "File - Save As" and give this filter a name.
9. Close the Edit View window.
10. The filter automatically applies, and the events you see are those that fall within the range of dates specified in the filter.
11. Highlight the audit trail lines, right-click, and archive the events by choosing the format.
