Agilent 6890 with Agilent G1888 Headspace intemittently fails to complete sample set - WKB87830

SYMPTOMS

• Run stops; "Preparing For Next Injection" displayed
• "Connection to Chromatographic System Lost" eventually appears
• Sample sets were altered with Alter Running Sample Set

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent 6890 GC
• Agilent G1888
• Empower 3
• ICF 3.1

CAUSE

Samples sets cannot be edited if "High Throughput Is Enabled" is in the instrument method.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Disable "High Throughput" or do not use "Alter Running Sample".
