PDA 3D spectra missing in review window - WKB8750

SYMPTOMS

• PDA 3D spectra missing in the review window after processing data
• When reprocessing data, the 3D data is still missing
• Even in view >3D layout, 3D data is missing

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 SR2 Hotfix 1

CAUSE

In the method set used to process the data, "Delete PDA 3D channel after extraction" is checked off. This function saves extracted 2D channels from a 3D chromatogram, then deletes the 3D chromatogram from the Empower database.

FIX or WORKAROUND

No resolution, the 3D chromatogram is deleted. Make sure the function "Delete PDA 3D Channel After Extraction" is unchecked from the method set before processing.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To recover the 3D data, restore a backup of the project that has that sample set into Empower.
