SYMPTOMS
- The following error appears when attempting to activate Empower licenses: "The Empower database is not the one that hosts the license request file. You must select the database that contains the license request file"
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 Enterprise
CAUSE
The identity of the Empower database is different than the identity indicated in the activation file.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Generate a new Software Registration file and attempt licensing again. If licensing still fails, contact Waters Support.
