"Procsrvr MFC stopped working" error when processing data with internal standard - WKB86378

SYMPTOMS

• Batch processing a sample set with a processing method that includes an internal standard causes "Procsrvr MFC stopped working" error
• Batch processing the same sample set with a processing method with no internal standard works fine

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4

CAUSE

The method set included a processing method for a specific channel, but the internal standard in that processing method was from a different channel than that being processed.

PM "FGI" included a component from a channel called "QDa 3: SIR Ch1".

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Don't specify the processing method for a specific channel. Instead, process all channels in the method set using the same processing method.
