With Agilent ICF v3.2, Empower gives the error "Instrument Failure Bad Data" - WKB86083

SYMPTOMS

• When running the Agilent LC system, the sample set is interrupted with the error message "Instrument Failure Bad Data" and "Not enough memory resources are available to process this command" in the message center
• Baseline may not appear while monitoring

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise
• Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF) v3.2
• Agilent 1260 Infinity

CAUSE

Defect : CRI-1390

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Defect is fixed in Agilent Instrument Control Framework Support v 3.3
• Before starting a run click MONITOR and confirm data is plotted.
• If data is not plotted then reboot the LACE.
