In Empower, does the Injection # for Single Injection automatically move up if you specify the same Vial # as the last injection? - WKB85246

Article number: 85246

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3
  • Single Injection

ANSWER

Yes

During Single Injection, if you specify the same Vial # as the last injection, the Injection # will move up.

■ When running the Sample Set
If the line changes, it is treated as a different sample and the Injection # will be reset to "1" even if the Vial # is the same.
Injection # 2 or higher is assigned only when you specify 2 or higher in the "Injection count" field.

■ When running the Single Injection
If you specify the same vial as the previous vial, the Injection # will automatically move up.

Example 1: The last vial injected in the sample set is "25".
For the next analysis, if the vial is specified as "25" for a single injection, the Injection # moves up to "2".
Example 2: With a repeat injection with the same vial for Single Injection, the Injection # moves up.

■ Sometimes the Injection # moves up and sometimes it does not.
Injection # for Single Injection depends on system and Vial #.
When the system transitions offline, it returns to #1.

* Even if the user or project is different, when the system is online (it remains "online" in Empower even if the instrument is turned off), the number moves up if the Vial # is the same.
