SYMPTOMS

• Error "Cannot save a result produced by processing a partially collected Chromatogram" when trying to save results in review

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise

CAUSE

WatersService was not started on the Empower server because the password was changed for the Windows account starting the WatersService.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Specify the valid password for the account starting the Windows service WatersService on the Empower server.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Confirm that the DCOM settings are set according to the installation guide.
