"AgGC:Invalid Injection Volume" or "GC_backErrMessage" followed by "Instrument failure" errors with Agilent GC using Empower - WKB79487
SYMPTOMS
If HS is configured as front and ALS as back, while running HS, the error message shows as "GC_backErrMessage" followed by instrument failure in middle of the sample set
or
If ALS is configured as front and HS as back, while running ALS, the error message shows as "Invalid Injection Volume, Requested 1 µL does not match loop volume of 1000 µL" followed by instrument failure in middle of the sample set
or
If ALS is configured as front and HS as back, while running HS, the error message shows as "Invalid Injection Volume, 1000 μL is an invalid volume. Use 0.1, 0.2,…, 4.9, or 5 μL" followed by instrument failure in middle of the sample set
ENVIRONMENT
- ICF 3.1 and 3.2
- Empower 3
- Agilent 7890 GC
- Agilent 6890 GC
- Agilent G1888 Headspace
- Agilent 7697 Headspace
CAUSE
Reported as CRI-1009
