• Instrument icons are missing from the instrument method editor when trying to create a new instrument method

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• 2475 detector
• 2998 detector
• 2695 Alliance

CAUSE

Lost communication

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Shut down the computer and power-off the Ethernet switch and instruments.
2. Power-on the Ethernet switch and then the computer.
3. Wait until the computer is back up and idle before turning on the instruments.
