SYMPTOMS

  • Error reported when double-clicking Open Empower: "The program can't start because OCI.dll is missing"

ENVIRONMENT

Empower 3 FR4

CAUSE

The OCI.dll file path cannot be found. Installing other software causes the path to be modified.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Add the OCI.dll file path to the system environment variable'Path'.
