Empower run stopped in the middle of the night - WKB76468

SYMPTOMS
- Run stopped in Empower overnight.
- ORA 12541 occurred when trying to log back into the PC (see WKB461 to resolve ORA 12541).
- Instrument LAN card is set up correctly.
- Firewall and Windows Defender is off.
- In Windows Application and System Event Viewer logs, there are errors for Oracle terminating and exhausted memory issues:
ENVIRONMENT
Empower 3 Feature Release 4 Personal
CAUSE
The virtual memory was set to system managed size and not set to the recommended value of 4x RAM.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Set virtual memory to recommended value as listed in the FR4 Installation Guide. The virtual memory should be set to 4x RAM.
