OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Extract a chromatogram in the Empower Review window.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• 3D data
• PDA

PROCEDURE

1. From the "Channels" tab of the project, highlight the 3D data channel.
2. Right-click on the highlighted channel and choose "Review".
3. When the window opens, click View > 3D Layout at the top.
4. Back at the top, click  Process > Extract Chromatogram.
5. A box appears at the top-right corner of the contour plot.
6. Click in the box, delete the current value, type the desired wavelength, and then press "Enter" on the keyboard.
7. A chromatogram appears in the 2D chromatogram window below the contour plot.
8. If you want to save this chromatogram with no further processing, click File > Save > Chromatogram.
9. The saved chromatogram is added to the "Channels" tab of the project.
