What causes the Empower recover log to stop recording sweep events on the LAC/E32? - WKB75975

Article number: 75975

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3
  • LAC/E32

ANSWER

If the Watersservice stops for any reason, the recover.log stops recording. This may happen when someone manually stops the Watersservice, or it may occur when the instrument server process stops or crashes. When the Watersservice restarts or the LAC/E32 reboots, the recover log should record "Started Recover Log". If you check the LAC/E32's Windows System Event Log for Event ID 7036, Information Level, you can see if the Watersservice was started and stopped manually. If the Instrumentserver process crashes, you can see that in the application event log.
