SYMPTOMS

• Empower 3 Feature Release 4 (FR4) Service Release 3 (SR3) freezes and crashes when used on Windows 10 build 1903

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4 SR3
• Windows 10 build 1903

CAUSE

Windows 10 build 1903 is not supported.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Revert to the official Waters Windows 10 image that uses build LTSB 1607. Empower 3 FR4 SR3 was tested with this version and is officially supported by Waters.
