Empower error message: "System System_Name on node Node_Name is currently not shared" - WKB7419

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot have access to a chromatographic system from a computer other than the one connected to the instrument.
• Error message: System System_Name on node Node_Name is currently not shared when you try to connect to a system.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower Enterprise

CAUSE

Chromatographic system is not shared.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open Empower Configuration Manager.
2. Right-click "System Properties" on the system.
3. Select "Share System with Other Network Users" and click OK.
