SYMPTOMS

• After modifying a sample set to contain fewer injections, the sample set ran the original method
• The method was modified during a run
• If the sample set method was brought into Run Samples to launch a new sample set, it loaded the modified method
• The audit trail associated with the method shows "modified method", with the method being sample set.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

The user altered the sample set from the project window. This does not update the sample set current running, and it runs to completion.

The modified method populates for a new sample set in Run Samples.

FIX or WORKAROUND

To have changes take affect correctly for the current run, alter the current sample set from the Run Samples window using "alter running sample".
