"Configuration not available" error when uploading configuration with Agilent Preconfiguration using Empower - WKB72591

SYMPTOMS

• "Configuration not available" error occurs when uploading configuration with Agilent Preconfiguration and the preconfiguration fails

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent 7890 GC
• Agilent 7697A Headspace
• Agilent 6890 GC
• Agilent G1888 Headspace
• Empower 3 Enterprise
• Agilent Instrument Control Framework 3.0

CAUSE

Unwanted digits were entered in the Instrument IP address on the Connection tab in the Configuration dialog box.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Enter the correct Instrument IP address.

(Correct) 192.168.0.XX

(Wrong) 192.168.000.XXX
