SYMPTOMS
- Sample set fails to run
- Software waits to start first sample
- Software was recently upgraded
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3
CAUSE
Communication issue
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Close Empower.
- Reboot the Empower PC.
- Log in to Windows but do not launch Empower.
- Power-cycle all UPLC components, starting with the sample manager. Power-on the QDa last.
- Wait for the QDa status light to be steady green or OFF.
- Open Empower.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Reboot the hardware after upgrading the software.
