Can "data missing" be caused by an instrument issue? - WKB70279

Article number: 70279

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 Enterprise

ANSWER

Yes, it is possible that the detector on the instrument did not send data. But other things need to be checked first.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Verify that a 1-kb file with a name matching that of the channel ID that displays "data missing" is present on the LAC/E. This gives us an indication that Empower set things up correctly to receive data from the system. If injections in the sample sets before and after the problem one ran successfully, it adds evidence that the issue is with the system itself, specifically the detector.
