SYMPTOMS
- With Agilent GC 7890B, next injection does not start if instrument method has a thermal gradient
- Without thermal gradient (isothermal), there is no issue
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 FR3
- Agilent ICS 7890B V2.6
CAUSE
The GC 7890B has been used with other software (MSD Chem). This software changed some parameters on the GC 7890B.
Configuration of GC 7890B Oven : Ignore Ready was set to "True".
FIX or WORKAROUND
Change GC 7890B Oven : Ignore Ready to "False" on the control panel of the GC 7890B.
