Prevent the WatersService from automatically restarting.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

PROCEDURE

1. Open the list of Windows services running on the node that has the WatersService in question.
2. Right-click on the WatersService and choose "Properties".
3. On the "General" tab, set the "Startup Type" to "Disabled".
4. Click the "Stop" button in the "Service Status" area.
5. Click OK at the bottom of the window.
