"Project path not accessible" when trying to run an SQD or TQD on Empower using ICS 1.41 - WKB5954

SYMPTOMS

• "Project path not accessible" error in Empower when trying to start a run.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2 Empower 3 ICS 1.41.

CAUSE

User is not logged into Windows as a local administrator.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. User must log into Windows as a local administrator.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When using ICS 1.41 to run either an SQD or TQD on Empower, the user must be logged into Windows as a local administrator. This is a bug and is corrected in ICS 1.42. Associated error about SampleListInterface.txt file not being opened or found “C:\Empower\Instruments\MassSpec\MassLynx”.
