Error: Unable to load instrument setup information for AgGC - WKB58222

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument method in report shows error logged as "Unable to load instrument setup information for AgGC"
• Empower message center shows error "Unable to load instrument setup information for AgGC"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• ICF 2.2 or 3.0 with A.02.04 and A.02.05 ICF framework and GC driver A.03.02 or B.01.03a
• ICF SL v3.3
• 6890N
• Agilent Instrument Control Framework 7890 GC

CAUSE

System is not accepting "JW" as column manufacturer in instrument method.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reopen the instrument method.
2. In the Column tab, click on Column Catalog.
3. Change the Manufacturer from JW to Agilent.
4. Save the method again.
