Why do I get the ACQUITY driver pack error "Acquitymoduleconfig.exe has stopped working"? - WKB56871

SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY driver pack installation error: "Acquitymoduleconfig.exe has stopped working"
• Installation takes a very long time to complete
• The Empower Installation log shows a very long time gap during the installation

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR2 - FR4
• ACQUITY driver pack

CAUSE

ACQUITY ICS is not installing properly.

Antivirus software is blocking installation.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Install as local administrator.
2. Temporarily disable antivirus software for the driver pack installation.
3. For Citrix installations, ensure that the server is set to install mode before you begin.
