How can the dormant flag be selected in a queued line of sample sets in Empower? - WKB54205

Article number: 54205

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3

ANSWER

-If a user selects the Dormant check box for the queued sample set.

-If there is a queued sample set and the running sample set gives an instrument failure, the Dormant box is selected automatically on the queued sample set(s) to preserve the queue.  The user can deselect the Dormant check box when they are ready to start acquiring the queued sample set(s).

-If a user chooses to abort a sample set when additional sample sets are in the queue, the user should choose to select either 'Preserve queue and pause' or 'Continue with the next sample set'.  If the user chooses 'Preserve queue and pause', the sample sets in the queue are set to 'Dormant' until the user clears the Dormant check box, at which time Empower automatically resumes acquisition.
