Agilent has made changes to the DIP switch settings for DHCP communications on recent instruments. Consult Agilent documentation for the specific module in use to determine the proper DIP switch settings for Static IP (ICF v3.0 or higher), DHCP, or BOOTP communication.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If you have an older 1100 detector with a G1369 LAN card or a G1846 Jet Direct card, those cards also have DIP switches for configuration. Find the manuals for these boards on the Agilent support website.
The detector should always be the module that is attached to the instrument LAN (if possible).
