Resolution is not being calculated in Empower - WKB51220

SYMPTOMS

• Resolution is not being calculated in Empower
• Peaks do not have good separation or resolution
• ApexTrack is used for the processing method, and "ALL" is selected on the Suitability tab in the processing method for Pharmacopeia
• Peak Width at Tangent and Peak Width at 50% are not calculated

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

 The software is operating as designed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Both the peak of interest and the preceding peak must be present with enough resolution to be able to calculate the applicable peak widths (Width @ Tangent (USP Resolution) or Width @ 50%).
