2489 "Not Connected" error in Empower Run Samples from another node - WKB48930

SYMPTOMS

• "Not Connected"  error in Empower Run Samples control panel from another node (control panel ok from the LAC/E32 where the 2489 is connected)
• Reset and reboot does not resolve
• Node Properties shows status = Yes under OK?
• LED is green on the 2489
• Can ping the detector and get reply
• No issue if connected to Empower from the node where the 2489 is connected

ENVIRONMENT

• 2489 detector
• Ethernet
• Empower 3 Enterprise

CAUSE

IPV6

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Disable IPV6 in the registry key.
